More specifically, the entry-level Surface Pro 4 is now more accessible, just in time for the holidays. It is worth noting that the entry-level device usually costs $899. With the new deal, customers can get the hybrid for $649, which represents a saving of $250. Interested parties need to be quick because this deal is only available for today (December 8). To sweeten the offering further, Microsoft is also throwing in a free sleeve for the device. The base model Surface Pro 4 sports an Intel Core m3 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, while storage is a solid state drive with 128GB of space. This is actually a good deal because the unit is still a current product. Microsoft decided not to update its flagship Surface Pro line this year. The Surface Pro 4 will likely be around for many months yet as a replacement is not likely to arrive until later in 2017. Surface Pro 4

Microsoft discounted the Surface Pro line last month. The Surface Pro 4 with an i5, 4GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD was reduced by $250. Microsoft was close to being a laughing stock when it originally launched the Surface product line. Considering the company has to write off $1 billion in unsold inventory, early criticisms felt legitimate. The company persevered with the range though, and the market is growing enough now to suggest that this category of device is here to stay.
